Harley Davidson Heritage

A potential customer (called Rod) came to us by recommendation of Riders motorcycles of Bridgwater Somerset. Previously Rod had gold plating done on parts of his motorcycle by an unnamed electroplater. His inspiration for this work was gained from watching customising programs on satellite TV. However there were two areas of the work previously done that caused concern;

1) the gold was of very poor quality and you could rub it off with soap & water.
2) Rod was not given any aftercare instruction on how to look after it.

Rod was in two minds whether to remove the gold or go back to chrome and forget the dream, or to give it another try. With all of our customers we work hard on building friendly business relationships and Rod is no exception, as we have since become good friends. We started on some small items for Rod and a week later he returned with more corrective work to be done on his prized Harley.

Rod likes individuality as do many other owners of customised motorcycles and so we set out to do some very intricate selective plating.

This was on the Harley badges on his seat (whilst still fitted to the seat) and petrol tank.
We have also done some selective plating with Kuryakyn skull mirrors and lady clutch/brake levers to name but a few of his other items we have worked on.

The customisation continues and as Rod says ‘ wherever I go this bike turns heads’ Gold 2u says ‘Ride-on Rod’
